Le imprese sono una guida graduale per i nuovi giocatori di Minecraft e da loro sfide da completare. Ci sono attualmente 34 imprese nella Computer Edition, 50 nella Xbox 360 Edition, 29 trofei nella Playstation 3 Edition, 46 trofei nella Playstation 4 Edition, 50 imprese nella Xbox One Edition e 44 nella Windows 10 Edition.
Ottenimento
Le imprese possono essere completate in ogni modalità di gioco, inclusa la Creative. Vengono ottenute e salvate nel relativo mondo di gioco.
Nelle console edition, possono essere completate solo in modalità Survival, e se la modalità di gioco viene cambiata a creativa o se i privilegi dell' host non sono attivi, anche se torni in modalità sopravvivenza o disabiliti i privilegi dell' host, le imprese non saranno disponibili, perché usare la modalità creativa o abilitare i privilegi dell' host disabilita le imprese. Ogni impresa è indipendente dalle altre, quindi puoi completarle in qualsiasi ordine.
Le imprese si possono ottenere anche se si è sviluppatori o quando i trucchi sono attivati, tramite il comando /achievement.
Utilizzo
Quando un’impresa viene compiuta, appare un messaggio sulla chat del server che segnala il nome del giocatore che l’ha compiuta. L’opzione può essere disabilitata nelle impostazioni del server.
Nelle edizioni per Xbox e Windows 10 le imprese determinano i punteggi del giocatore, per un totale di 1000 punti su Xbox 360 e Xbox One e 830 punti su Windows 10.
Le imprese compiute su PlayStation 3 e PlayStation 4 agiscono come trofei.[1]
Interfaccia
L’interfaccia delle imprese, di cui la prima completata.
Il pulsante per accedere alla schermata delle imprese si trova nel menu principale di Minecraft. Accanto si trova anche il bottone delle statistiche.
Il sistema delle imprese di Minecraft si sviluppa sotto forma di albero, che prevede il completamento progressivo delle imprese in una ramificazione che diventa man mano più complessa. In origine l’interfaccia mostrava l’albero delle imprese sulla sinistra ed una ‘mini-mappa’ sulla destra. La mini-mappa venne rimossa nella versione definitiva del gioco, lasciando spazio alla tuttora attuale interfaccia. Lo sfondo della schermata simula il sottosuolo del mondo di Minecraft, attraverso la rappresentazione bidimensionale dei blocchi di terra nella parte alta, della pietra nel mezzo, della bedrock nella parte bassa e dei minerali grezzi sparsi casualmente. Tenendo premuto e spostando il cursore si possono vedere le varie ramificazioni dell’albero delle imprese. Con la rotellina del mouse si può zoomare avanti e indietro sulla schermata per avere una panoramica delle imprese già completate e di quelle da completare.
Le versioni del gioco per Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3 utilizzano l’interfaccia dei trofei standard, rispettivamente di Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, invece dell’interfaccia ‘ad albero’ delle imprese.

Curiosità
- Tutti i giocatori del server possono vedere quando un’impresa viene compiuta, tramite un messaggio che compare sulla chat.
- Nella versione per PC le imprese possono essere compiute in ogni modalità. Per questo motivo, alcune imprese possono essere compiute più facilmente usando la modalità creativa.
- Return to Sender rappresenta un’eccezione, poiché richiede una carica di fuoco, che viene sparata da un ghast che attacca il giocatore, cosa che avviene solamente nelle modalità sopravvivenza, hardcore e avventura. Ciononostante quest’impresa può essere comunque ottenuta con i comandi.
- Imprese come Delicious Fish non possono essere compiute tramite un sistema automatico di cottura tramoggia-fornace. L’impresa richiede che il cibo venga inserito manualmente all’interno della fornace.
- Se un’impresa viene assegnata ad un giocatore tramite un comando di gioco, il giocatore otterrà automaticamente anche tutte le imprese precedenti richieste per sbloccare tale impresa. Esse appariranno tutte in chat.
- Si possono resettare tutte le imprese compiute da un giocatore cancellando la cartella “stats” nel file del mondo di gioco. L’azione comporta anche il cancellamento di tutte le statistiche del mondo.
- L’impresa Sniper Duel divenne molto più difficile da compiere quando i mostri iniziarono a despawnare in base alla loro distanza dal giocatore. 50 blocchi sono sufficienti affinché gli scheletri despawnino abbastanza velocemente (solitamente entro due minuti o meno) e non si muovano.
- When Pigs Fly richiede Cow Tipper. Le mucche droppano il cuoio, ma non esiste una ricetta per craftare la sella.
Riferimenti
- The Lie è un riferimento al meme di Internet "The Cake is a Lie", che a sua volta è un riferimento al videogioco Portal.
- "Achievement Get!" è un riferimento ad un vecchio proto-meme: i primi screenshot di Super Mario Sunshine usavano la localizzazione giapponese e mostravano Mario che prendeva una Shine Sprite, con la didascalia "Shine Get!". A causa del successo del gioco e dell’attenzione rivolta a questi screenshot, "[nome] Get!" divenne così un’espressione comunemente utilizzata sulle immagini, dalle quali Notch trasse ispirazione.
- Return to Sender si riferisce ad un’espressione spesso utilizzata sulle lettere informali, dal momento che venivano spesso consegnate all’indirizzo sbagliato.
- When Pigs Fly è un riferimento ad un noto modo di dire, in merito ad una situazione piuttosto assurda e improbabile.
